  Witnesses don't discuss doctrine period. Even during the watchtower study or congregation "bible" study, doctrine isn't really discussed. Read the paragraph, ask the question, quick answer that is just rereading the paragraph, then move on. Ive been just sitting here thinking for about 5 minutes and I can't think of a single witness, under 30, that would even begin to know how to talk about anything more than elementary doctrine.

  Yeah just a bunch of dumb down drones. This is what help me to see the truth about the WT society.

  That is because in developed countries like the US people have better access to education and the internet where they educate themselves. Unfortunately in most Muslim countries most people there do not have access to higher education like we do. Christianity's hey day was in the middle ages when most people were illiterate.

  It is funny, most of the comments on here were very negative about what these guys did and the agreement with the majority on here is it was counter productive. I went to the video clip on youtube and it is the other way around, most comments were giving these guys high fives. Maybe most of them were friends of these guys. It is hard to know what the real feeling is with the majority. Anyone that is a JW or not knowing fully what the JW's stand for will only feel sorry for those people present at the kingdum hall.

  all of us are upset in different ways, some of us are ferociously angry because, let's face it, it's our fault!

  i had many clues they were lying about our religion but i failed to see through them because of the pain of admitting we got conned and family pressure from peers stopped me from making a courageous choice.

  when i read about people who confronted the elders and won their judicial committees (even though the jw elders df'ed them) my heart goes out to their courage, their amazingly stronger than i will ever be.

  I disagree with this statement. Unless we were adults and can make our own decisions, how can we be blamed for being brainwashed as a young child? I think most of us on here were raised in the religion. As soon as I was old enough to reason for myself I started to fade.

  Yeah it's not like they ever invade your space at 8 am on a Saturday morning banging on your door and telling you your gonna die if you don't join their club.

  This is not the issue here and we should be above that. I do not agree with Muslims belief but I have enough respect not to go into their house of worship and make fun of them.

  I loved the composure everybody else maintained. Very dignified indeed.

  What a jerk!!!

  Yes they were very composed and it will only make outsiders looking at this video feel sorry for the JW's in attendance.

  Petition to Revoke Scientology's Tax Exempt Status

  fyi, if you feel that scientology's tax-exempt status should be revoked, you can sign a white house petition to revoke its tax-exempt status at https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/revoke-scientologys-tax-exempt-status.. i signed the petition even though i have mixed feelings about this petition.

  i would prefer that dangerous cults like scientology be reformed by suspending its tax-exempt status until it makes needed changes and i do not like targeting a specific organization when the whole system should be changed.

  on the other hand this type of action may help to promote debate about revising the tax codes in the us.. i do prefer revising the tax code like i wrote about in revise tax code to protect children from sexual abuse .. peace be with you and everyone, who you love,.
